A Petition to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario
SERVICE ONTARIO
WHEREAS access to services that are provided exclusively by the government of Ontario are both necessary and obligatory;
AND WHEREAS after a sustained and lengthy shut down, the lack of any clear reopening plan from the Ontario government has resulted in inconsistent and restrictive openings across the province;
AND WHEREAS those compelled to access these services are being forced to wait in lines sometimes for extended periods of time;
AND WHEREAS those who purchased services from the online ServiceOntario.ca have not received their products within a reasonable timeframe;
WE the undersigned petition the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as follows:
That the Government of Ontario assist all Service Ontario locations to open with business hours that will help them address the backlog and reduce wait times, and to provide any additional resources and funding which are necessary to continue operating in-person services.
