(QUEEN’S PARK) - Randy Hillier, Ontario PC Party Critic for Labour, and the PC Caucus have uncovered another new secret tax grab by Dalton McGuinty’s Liberal Government. Hillier demanded in Question Period today that McGuinty reveal the truth behind their new $50 Million work tax on Ontario’s hardworking skilled tradesmen. In 2010 Dalton McGuinty forced the Ontario College of Trades onto Ontario’s tradesmen – today the PC Caucus has learned that the College of Trades will force a $125 per person work tax each year on all 470,000 tradesmen in the Province.

(Queen's Park) - Randy Hillier, Ontario PC Critic for Northern Development, Mines and Forestry, condemned the McGuinty Liberals for slamming the door shut on Northern Ontario families with their forest tenure legislation. Third reading on Bill 151 was limited to only 1 hour of debate this morning, after which the Liberals passed this dangerous legislation.

(QUEEN’S PARK) - Randy Hillier, Ontario PC Critic for Northern Development, Mines, and Forestry, condemns the McGuinty Government for voting against crucial amendments to Bill 151 – Forest Tenure Modernization Act. Yesterday the Standing Committee for General Government met for only 40 minutes to complete the clause-by-clause amendment process for 151.

(QUEENS PARK) - Randy Hillier, MPP for Lanark-Frontenac-Lennox and Addington blasted the McGuinty Government today in Question Period. Mr. Hillier rose in the Legislature to question the Minister of Health regarding the wasteful and unaccountable spending occurring at the South East LHIN.
