In addition to looking for warmer weather and Easter eggs last week, many people, including the OPP, were on the hunt for computer hard drives, emails and the truth that appears to have gone missing from Queens Park. During the hunt it appears the Globe & Mail may have stumbled upon another Government scandal regarding taxpayer’s money.

The following survey was completed in the first three weeks of April 2014 by residents of Lanark-Frontenac-Lennox and Addington.

MPP Hillier speaks to Bill 83, the Protection of Public Participation Act, and how Ontario's legal system needs real reform to better allow real people to get involved and defend themselves. Hillier recounts the case of Don Page, a resident of his riding and a former contestant for the Ontario NDP leadership, and the inability to defend himself.

Randy Hillier, MPP for Lanark-Frontenac-Lennox and Addington, introduced a petition in the Legislature calling on the Government to immediately provide Esbriet as a choice to patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and their health care providers in Ontario through public funding.

I had the pleasure to sit down in studio with Lake 88's Bob Perreault and Carleton Place resident Doug Leitch to discuss out of control hydro rates and the April 4th Province Wide Hydro Protest. We also talked specifically about the Carleton Place hydro demonstration on April 4th taking place at the Carleton Place Farmers Market.
