A Petition to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario – STOP THE SALE OF HYDRO ONE

To the Legislative Assembly of Ontario:
Whereas, the current plan for the partial sell-off of Hydro One Networks has been done contrary to public opinion;

And Whereas, the sale will also affect the ownership of our transmission corridors and distribution hubs;

And Whereas, the sale removes oversight by the Ontario Ombudsman, the Auditor General, the Integrity Commissioner, the Financial Accountability Officer and the Legislative Assembly;

We, the undersigned, petition the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as follows:
That the Premier of Ontario and the Energy Minister stop the sale of this asset immediately.
