I have created a petition calling on the government to provide the per-pupil funding it provides school boards, $12,500 per student, directly to parents so they may choose the best education arrangements for their individual needs.
With the uncertainty and unease some are having with school reopenings we must move away from the "one size fits all" model of education and open new opportunities and choices to students and families.
Parents deserve to choose where the funding for their children's education is best utilized for their individual needs, either in public school, private school, home schooling or charter schools, parents deserve a choice.
