This Liberal government has a complete disregard for democracy and equality. Their lavish cash-for-access scheme which saw Ministers direct stakeholders to purchase tickets costing tens of thousands of dollars to Liberal Party fundraisers showcases their discontent for democracy.

This has resulted in many advocacy groups and professional organizations who can't foot the bill for the Liberal Party's ticket charge being shut out of the policy making process.

Once their activities were exposed the Premier slapped together Bill 201 and has been trying to sell it as the solution to their undemocratic behavior, however Bill 201 does nothing to address cash-for-access.

If you think it's undemocratic and wrong for the Government to sell access to Ministers to the highest bidder sign the petition below and show your support for a strong and equitable democracy in Ontario.

To the Legislative Assembly of Ontario:
Whereas cash for access fundraisers have poisoned and distorted our democracy;

And Whereas, cash for access fundraisers have empowered wealthy business and union interests to the detriment of the individual;

And Whereas, cash for access fundraisers are in direct conflict with the principals of democracy, equality, fairness and a government that serves the people;

We, the undersigned, petition the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as follows:
That the Government of Ontario reform Bill 201 to ensure that Ministers do not use their positions of power to enrich their party and grant favours to union and corporate interests
